These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of curateandharness.com, the Curate & Harness Substack publication, and connected tools including Inventory, the Style Quiz, and Clothing Search (together, the “Services”), operated by Curate & Harness (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Services.

Who can use the Services

You must be at least 18 years old, or have a parent or guardian’s permission, to use the Services. By using the Services, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

Paid access

Inventory, and Style Quiz outfits generated on you, are included with a paid Curate & Harness Substack subscription; Closet Review, Clothing Search and the Style Quiz with drawn outfit boards come with a free one. Access is tied to the email address on your subscription and is verified automatically. If you cancel your subscription, you keep access through the end of your current paid period plus seven days, after which access ends. We may change what’s included with a subscription at any time.

Your content

You own the photos, descriptions, preferences, and other content you provide to the Services (“your content”). By submitting it, you give us permission to store, process, and display it back to you as needed to provide the Services — including sending it to AI providers as described in our Privacy Policy. You’re responsible for making sure you have the right to share any content you upload, and for its accuracy.

AI-generated content

Suggestions, style profiles, outfit visualizations, and written responses generated by the Services use AI models and may be inaccurate, outdated, or not to your taste. They’re offered for informational and entertainment purposes only and aren’t professional styling, design, financial, or other advice. Use your own judgment before acting on them.

Clothing Search and third-party retailers

Clothing Search surfaces items from brand catalogs we’ve cleared for the feature. Product availability, pricing, and details come from those brands and can change or be inaccurate at any time. Any purchase you make happens directly with the retailer, on their site and under their terms — we’re not a party to that transaction. Some links across the Services, including ShopMy collections, are affiliate links, and we may earn a commission if you make a purchase through them.

Acceptable use

When using the Services, you agree not to:

• Use them for anything illegal or that violates these Terms;
• Attempt to bypass paid-access controls or share your access with people who aren’t entitled to it;
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the Services or their underlying systems;
• Upload content that infringes someone else’s rights or that you don’t have permission to share; or
• Use the Services’ AI features to generate harmful, abusive, or illegal content.

We may suspend or terminate your access if we reasonably believe you’ve violated these Terms.

Intellectual property

The Services, including their design, text, and code (but not your content or third-party trademarks), belong to Curate & Harness or our licensors. You may not copy, resell, or redistribute the Services without our permission.

Third-party services

The Services rely on third parties — including Substack, Cloudflare, OpenAI, Resend, ShopMy, and the retailers in Clothing Search — that have their own terms and privacy practices. We aren’t responsible for those third parties’ services, content, or policies.

Disclaimers

The Services are provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. We don’t guarantee the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate or suitable for your purposes.

Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, Curate & Harness won’t be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Changes to the Services or these Terms

We may update the Services or these Terms at any time. We’ll update the “last updated” date above when we make material changes; continuing to use the Services after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
